Dr. Krausman received her DVM from the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University. She also holds a Master’s in Biology from SUNY Binghamton.
She is a member of VIN, the Veterinary Information Network, an online forum for veterinarians throughout the United States and around the world.
Dr. Krausman has been doing research on the “Human-Animal Bond,” and presented a paper on “The Effects of Illness in Pets on the Well-Being of the Elderly” at the Ninth International Symposium on Human-Animal Interactions, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Dr. Krausman plays the saxophone and loves jazz. Her family’s menagerie includes two dogs, one cat, three parrots, and seven fish in the pond.
